Language Acquisition
Language is learnt in Utero. We are tuned to our 'Mother tongue' just like a radio is tuned to a station. |
Do you want to learn English faster?
Do you want to learn it easier and better than anyone else? We learn language in Utero. Children are born being tuned into the frequency ban of their mother tongue. It has also been discovered that a baby will cry in the modulation of the mother tongue accent. In other words, a French baby has a cry that goes up in modulation from low to high, A German baby will cry in a modulation that goes from high to low and a Swedish baby will cry in a modulation that is varied, just as the band of frequencies in the language. On a personal note |
In 1987 I moved to Israel, Tel Aviv to study the Alexander Technique. I did not know one word of Hebrew. I found that even though I was immersed in the language I battled to learn it. I went to Ulpan to learn the language, and really struggled. I found listening to the language very irritating. Then I discussed it with my mother and she suggested I do a language programme for Hebrew. Which I did. I could not believe the difference after the programme. I did not know more Hebrew, but I could listen to it, I could hear it. I was then able to learn it so much faster. I was tuned into the language and it helped me to learn it. It was amazing.
Has anyone ever wondered why the French seem so rude when you speak to them in English? Well, I will tell you why this happens. The French language has a low band of frequencies, the English language has a much higher band of frequencies, and so, put more simply. The French cannot hear the English and so get frustrated. I experienced this feeling first hand, so I know it happens and it is nothing personal. Forgive the French. |
